Tongan Custody Agreement Translation

Tongan is a Polynesian language that is spoken in quite a few English speaking countries such as; The United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. As such, the need for legal, technical and medical translations has been in demand.

Recently, the Tongan translators at Tomedes took on the task of translating a custody agreement from Tongan into English for a Tongan divorced couple living in the United States. The custody agreement was an agreement for the two children the couple had together and the agreement was seven pages long. The agreement was drafted in the Tongan language but needed to be translated into English to be filed in the US courts. Two of our Tongan translators took on the task of completing the translation and had it completed in just 24 hours.
